Leesburg, Va. – April 16, 2019 – Today Cofense™, the global leader in intelligent phishing defense solutions, announced that registration is open for the fourth annual Submerge phishing defense summit and user conference. The event, set to take place Sept. 23-24, 2019 in Orlando, Fl., will bring together industry experts with practitioners who are on the front lines to discuss the security threat landscape and share phishing defense strategies. Featured speakers include Kevin Mandia, CEO of FireEye as a keynote, along with Cofense’s Co-Founders, Rohyt Belani, CEO, and Aaron Higbee, CTO.
“We are excited to bring back Cofense Submerge for the fourth year in a row. The 2019 event promises even deeper, more hands-on phishing defense content than ever before,” said Rohyt Belani, CEO and Co-Founder of Cofense. “Not only do we plan to provide immense value to our existing customers and partners through updated training sessions, but we strongly believe that this community has so much to offer the general public. Attendees can look forward to hearing the latest best practices, lessons learned, and real-life stories that showcase exactly how the most prevalent and damaging attack method can be secured.”
Open to both Cofense customers and non-customers, Cofense Submerge gives attendees the opportunity to learn from industry experts, while networking with peers and other Cofense users from all over the world. There are multiple speaker tracks and training sessions for attendees that will cover best practices, case studies, and instructions on the most current and important aspects of cybersecurity, including the latest phishing and ransomware threats, incident response, malware analysis, and employee resiliency.
“With more than 90 percent of breaches attributed to successful phishing campaigns, it is critical for the industry to come together and discuss the latest threats and strategies for defending against them,” said Mandia. “The annual Cofense Submerge conference is an excellent opportunity to crowdsource the latest phishing threats and incident response strategies, and I’m excited to help advance this discussion and provide security professionals with the support needed to continue the fight.”
The Cofense Submerge Phishing Defense Summit and User Conference is set to provide attendees with both training and informative sessions across two distinct tracks and promises even deeper, more hands-on content than ever before. Early bird registration discounts for Submerge are available until May 31. Those interested in submitting a speaker proposal can send an abstract on the Cofense Submerge site.
