“The more time SOC and IR teams spend manually scrubbing abuse inboxes, the less time they have to focus on stopping attacks in progress.”
Aaron Higbee, CTO and Co-Founder, Cofense
Phishing is a growing threat, impacting companies regardless of industry, size, and location. To help combat this, organizations have empowered employees to recognize and report suspicious emails. But more email reporting means extra work for incident responders who must sift through all the messages and determine their severity.
Enter Cofense TriageTM. It enables security teams to analyze and respond to phishing faster and more efficiently. And it works even better when you become a certified operator. The Cofense Triage Certification program helps you use our solution more effectively and stop phishing attacks in their tracks.

Cofense Triage Certification is comprised of three modules. Each module contains a mix of learning options including case studies—contextual phishing challenges followed up with insightful feedback.

Reports of non-malicious emails create a lot of distracting noise. This module helps operators understand how Cofense Triage filters spam and other harmless messages. You’ll also learn to use automated playbooks to streamline the workflow, reallocate time and resources, and reduce repetitive tasks, freeing you to focus on real threats.

This module helps users learn how to analyze and respond to malicious reports for faster mitigation. After completing this module, you will understand concepts like cluster risk scores, integrations, rule creation, and more.
The assessment module is an interactive test covering the concepts learned in the Modules 1 and 2. Upon completion, learners that receive a score of 80% or higher are certified and awarded badges in Cofense LMS and Cofense Community. Certified learners also receive instructions to add the certification to their LinkedIn profile and apply the training hours for CPE credits.
