Cofense Triage recognized for Incident Response based on excellent customer satisfaction ratings
LEESBURG, Va. – May 10, 2023 – Cofense, a global email security company and leading provider of phishing detection and response (PDR) solutions, today announced that Cofense Triage has been recognized as a Top Rated Incident Response Provider by TrustRadius. The Top Rated Awards help distinguish products in a category that have excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
The Top Rated Awards were created nine years ago to promote transparency within the B2B software industry, benefiting both technology buyers and providers. This recognition program mitigates any biases that may stem from the size or influence of software vendors by leveraging the trScore, which calculates a product’s score based on a weighted average of recent reviews and ratings rather than a simple average.
TrustRadius assesses over 60,000 customer reviews while evaluating both sentiment and hard facts to create an unbiased scoring system based on the following factors:
- Rating – Products need a trScore of 7.5 or above
- Recency – Products must have 10 or more new or updated reviews within the past 12 months
- Relevancy – Products must receive at least 1.5% of the traffic volume in that category
This announcement follows the release of Cofense’s 2023 Annual Report which revealed a startling 568% spike in malicious emails and a 44% increase in malware bypassing traditional email security measures in 2022. These alarming figures highlight the pressing need for intelligent email security solutions, such as Cofense Triage, which provides a robust platform that enables users to efficiently prioritize and remediate phishing threats. Security Operation Center (SOC) teams are constantly overburdened with alerts and face difficulty prioritizing and triaging the most impactful threats first. Triage eliminated this problem by helping SOC teams automate the manual effort of email analysis while providing them with the context they need to decide on the next steps of an investigation, making those teams more efficient and helping them reduce mean time to detection and mean time to response.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Top Rated incident response solution by TrustRadius,” said Keith Ibarguen, CPO of Cofense. “In 2022, our team worked hard to stay vigilant and ahead of the rapidly increasing cyber threats and tactics. The intelligence gained during this last year allows Cofense to provide greater insight and contextual information needed for security teams to take actionable steps to detect and respond to malicious email threats faster.”
